Hi, I’m Cerys!
I’m a Content Creator, Social Media Strategist & Creative Consultant.
Career Goals
I am looking to gain further experience within digital marketing, social media strategy and consulting as this is an area that I am passionate about and thrive in.
Education
Liverpool John Moores University
After discovering my interest in business while at college, I studied Business Management at LJMU. It covered a wide range of modules that gave me an understanding of the behind the scenes of running a business. One module that should out the most was the Applied Business Management Project as, myself & my team, worked alongside a real business to try and increase their client membership via marketing.
Courses
Having previously been part of a marketing membership, I completed a number of courses including content planning, email marketing, Pinterest marketing and much more. I am also in the process of completing the Google Garage Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course.
I love learning, so am continually looking for new courses to try.
Career
Although I haven’t had a direct marketing role, I have supported on a number of campaigns. These can be viewed in the ‘Projects’ section below
Within my career I have strengthened other skills such as teamwork, written & verbal communication, time management - amongst others. I am always looking to improve and progress as a person.
I am currently on a career break as I take on my biggest challenge yet - motherhood. Although many days are hard, becoming a Mother is the best thing and has changed my outlook on life. I am now even more determined to be in a career that brings me joy and to be the best role model for my little one. I am looking to start my career again from July 2024.

Copywriting (Blogging, Captions)
Projects
Getting creative truly brings me so much joy. Whether that’s just letting the words flow on my blog, getting in front of the camera to share some of my favourite outfits & moments on Instagram, creating graphics to share important information or getting behind the scenes and planning/scheduling content & strategy. I feel much more “me” when I’ve had the chance to be creative.

I am looking for either a part-time marketing or freelance role. Within freelance I am interested in social media strategy, or marketing consulting services.

Ideally I would like to do 3 days a week with a maximum of 30 hours over those 3 days. However, I can be flexible.
